David Tyson Smith will be on the
April 6th ballot
for Missouri State Representative
in House District 45
in House District 45
The April 6th, 2021 election ballot in Boone County will look very different this year.

Parson to fill the vacant seat in the 45th Legislative District. After a thorough but speedy series of events, interviews, and public vetting, the Democratic Legislative District 45 Committee selected David Tyson Smith on January 20 to represent the Party in the April 6th election. No Republican candidate was nominated by their Party, however, there is a Libertarian opponent on the April 6th ballot and the winning candidate will be seated immediately after election certification to fill the open seat for the remainder of the two-year term.
